Exhibited, CHIC at the 6750 Starbucks Gallery, a solo exhibition from January to March 2005.
Chiqui Rodriguez, Angono's new pride, held her first solo exhibition entitled "Chic." The exhibit consists of 12 paintings that reflect the fusion of the impressionistic as well as the realistic era plus modernism. Her artworks are inspired by her roots and experiences.
"My childhood, my time spent in Europe, and my life as a corporate woman inspired me to create these artworks," she confides. Chiqui studied at the University of the Philippines.
During her artistic moments, she would dabble with her paintbrush and create pieces that mirror the Asian and European influences in her. - The Manila Bulletin
